Brief: FKPEPEURINAL (FAKEPEPEURINAL) was created by Pepenardo as a test asset on counterparty in October 2021, 2 days prior to the minting of FAKEPEPELISA (and approximately 1 week after Fabrique’s iconic DUCHAMPEPE), with the assistance of ms1 and Kaphresh. The original intent of this asset was never determined upon creation but rather acted as learning buffer for subsequent assets. It was through this process of using counterparty for the first time that Pepenardo would come to experience his first encounters with the foundational community surrounding the (then) underground artist collective, the Fake Rares. Pepenardo describes vividly the positive communal energy and excitement present in the group – this he had not experienced prior within his traditional art career. Only a few years later, Pepenardo (Xnardo) and other prominent creatives of the original underground Fake Rares movement would later become some of the most world-renowned crypto artists of modern memetic and contemporary art history. Possessing this card is possessing a piece of Pepenardo’s formative history. This card is intended to be held 1 per person as history is meant for the people. Derivative of the original Oct 2021 text: Pepe's Urinal is a readymade sculpture by Pepenardo, consisting of a porcelain urinal signed "P. Pett". In October 2021, the ordinary piece of plumbing chosen by Pepenardo was submitted for an exhibition of Fake Rares.
